Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) plays an integral role in our success by ensuring that open positions are filled with high caliber talent in a time sensitive and cost effective manner. The TAS is accountable for the entire recruitment life cycle for roles in all pay bands and will be expected to build candidate pipelines, investigate alternate cost effective sources, build relationships with external resources – such as Diversity Groups, Colleges and Universities and be an expert at sourcing passive candidates.
Job Duties:
• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers
• Develop score cards
• Develop interview questions
• In conjunction with hiring managers, conduct first round interviews, and solicit feedback
• Using data analysis and your knowledge of the local employment conditions, identify best sources for candidate flow
• Post roles externally and internally
• Build candidate pipelines for frequent or hard to fill roles
• Source and engage passive candidates
• Schedule candidates and hiring managers for in person interviews
• Pre-screen candidates
• Conduct background verification and references
• Ensure SLA’s and Key Performance Indicators are met
• Ensure information in the ATS is current at all times
• Ensure candidates are informed of their status in the recruitment process through ATS and Verbal communication
• Create offer letters
• Present verbal employment offers to successful candidates
• Send (E-mail) or in person offer packages and new hire paperwork packages to successful candidates once verbal offer has been accepted
• Collect the signed back offer letters and new hire packages, complete the New Hire Checklist and e-mail to appropriate parties
Requirements:
• 4 + years in full cycle recruitment in a high volume environment, managing a desk of 15 to 20 open requisitions/month
• 2 + year(s) in a 3rd party recruitment firm
• 4 + year(s) working with ATS (iCims or Taleo) preferred
• 2 + years of Direct sourcing experience
• 2+ year of Sales recruitment
• Strong knowledge of Behavioral Interviewing techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize skills
• Strong ability to sell jobs and close candidates on roles
• Intermediate MS Office skills (especially Excel)
