Responsibilities:
• Source active and passive candidates in the tech space utilizing multiple outlets
• Build a strong brand in the market, proactively networking, cold calling, and “deep dive” into passive candidate networks through various markets and channels.
• Pre-screen applicants by reviewing resumes and conducting technical phone interviews to assess their skills, experience, and knowledge.
• Implementing and executing against a variety of candidate generation techniques, strategies, and programs, staying ahead of new innovation and industry trends.
• Leveraging existing knowledge of the local talent market to build competitive intelligence and a database of target companies. Continuously expand knowledge of local, national and international talent markets, as needed.
• Cultivating relationships with key candidates and specific talent pools, according to long-term initiatives and direction of the organization; turn applicants from non-active to active.
• Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, providing complete, accurate, and inspiring information about the company and position
• Accurately and effectively articulate our mission, vision, and value to potential candidates and the marketplace
• Manage scheduling and logistics between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, searches, hiring managers’ interactions, and other recruiting activities.
• Participate in meetups, career fairs, networking events, and local recruiting events
Qualifications & Experience:
• 4-6 years of progressive and successful sourcing and recruiting experience, either within a tech-driven company or an IT staffing/search firm
• Proven success building and utilizing a variety of sourcing strategies and tools, including proactive research, diversity sourcing, and employer brand promotion
• Experience working in information computing/ engineering
• In-depth knowledge of recruitment-based websites and sourcing tools
• Must be well-organized, dependable and team-oriented with the ability to prioritize, maintain a high level of confidentiality, and work effectively with all departments
• Basic knowledge of Human Resource laws and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
